Dudley Farm Historic State Park is located
4 miles east of Newberry on SR 26.
Hours of Operation
Park is open Wednesday thru Sunday 9:00 AM
– 5:00 PM and the Farmstead is open
Wednesday thru Sunday 9:00 AM – 4:00
PM.
Park Fees
Vehicle Entrance Fee (maximum of 8 people)
of $4.00 per vehicle. Extra passengers, pedestrians
and bicyclists are $1.00 per person.
Eighteen historic structures make up an authentic
(not recreated) farm complex. In 1983, Myrtle
Dudley donated her family farm to the Florida
Park Service. Today, Dudley Farm presents
a living history working farm encompassing
325 of the Dudley’s original 640 acres.

Guided Tours, Nature Trails, Picnicking,
and Tours
Guided Tours
School groups and organizations must make
reservations for tours one month in advance.
Groups are limited to 40 people. Please call
the park office at 352-472-1142 for group
tour guidelines and information.
Nature Trails
Picnic area loop trail is a pleasant 15 minute
walk that wanders through a hammock with many
live oaks and sinkholes.
Picnicking
The picnic area is located on the west side
of the parking lot across from the visitor
center and is equipped with 6 tables and 3
grills.
Tours
Farm Tours of the farmstead, buildings, work
areas, fields, gardens, etc. See people working
the lifestyle of the 1800’s –
1920’s.
