Park Fees
The Entrance Fee into most parks is $3.25-$4.00 per carload, up to eight people. Extra persons, walk-ins, and bicyclists are $1.00 per person. There may be additional fees for camping, tours, and museum entrances.

A replica of Gorrie's ice-machine, built from the specifications of his 1851 patent, is on display in the museum. The Apalachicola River's rich floodplains attracted many settlers during the 1800s and played an important role in the development of the town of Apalachicola.
